wantin to stretch muh tires:]

so i ordered some 16x8 sportmax 501's last night and now im lookin at some rubbers for em. im new to the tire stretchin game, so i was hopin for some insight.

so from what i can tell, a 205 would be the regular tire for an eight inch wide rim. so would i run a 195 to get the stretch look? and what size sidewall? 40 or 45?


any help would be much appreciated

but nonetheless, the two-fawty will be super fly when its runnin again and has these wheels on it

Oh yeah... I forgot he bought the sport's after the War-town meet stopped happening. Just get the info from him. I'm not sure his exact size... but if I ever get something with low offset, I'm gonna get the samn tire's as him because they're ballin'. Plus, getting tooo stretched looks really retarded.

205 is already stretched in my opinion. Granted I hate this fad of tire stretching, but I have 17x8 wheels and would never consider putting anything less than 225s. So yes, 195 should be plenty stretched.

yeah dude a 205 40 should be plenty. a 205 is for a 7" wide rim, so a 205 45 is already giving you a stretch
205 40 is a lot of stretch, and if you do a 195 make sure you do a 45 sidewall at least.
